BAE SYSTEMS NAMES DANA DORSEY VICE PRESIDENT OF PROCESS IMPROVEMENT AND SENSOR PROGRAMS
LOS ANGELES -- Dana Dorsey has joined BAE Systems Integrated Solutions, effective October 20, 2003, as its new vice president of Process Improvement and Sensor Programs.
Dorsey, who recently completed a two-year assignment as director of Mergers and Acquisitions with BAE Systems plc in the United Kingdom, is responsible for the company’s Sensor business, which includes Navigation Systems, Attitude Heading Reference Systems, Solid-State Rate Gyro, and Fuel Quantity Gauging Systems programs. He also will be in charge of business process improvement.
Dorsey previously worked as vice president of Business Operations for BAE Systems North America’s Information Systems Sector. Dorsey joined BAE Systems corporate Audit Department in 1987, and advanced through positions of increasing responsibility within finance, including vice president and CFO of the Information Systems Sector.
Dorsey served four years in the U.S. Air Force, leaving in 1979 with the rank of sergeant. He holds an MBA from Claremont Graduate School and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from California Polytechnic University. He resides in Woodland Hills.
